About Myself
2018-2022
Aloha, my name is Elisa Esquivel. I am a Senior here at Kihei Charter and to say the least, it’s been a crazy ride. Something I learned during my three years at Kihei Charter is to never take anything to chance to look at everything with a bright smile on your face instead of a frown, and to look at everything with a positive view. Sophmore year was when it all began. I got to learn so much about the students and staff. Something I realized about these students is, they all act like a family. At first, it was hard for me to adjust and open up to these people but the more I observed, the more I understood them and I become friends with them. I became more open-minded to others, friendly, considerate, funny, and responsible. I'm just thankful that everyone here helped me in a way that pushed me to become a better student and person. Looking into the future, I wonder what it would bring. At the same time, I worry if I look too far into the future, I might not achieve what I want. The present is where I should be. I need to continue working hard now and use the people around me to help me achieve what I want in the next phase of my life. |
