The comic strip project that I did for my chemistry class required a lot of self discipline. I had to dedicate myself to this work, meaning I couldn’t be lazy and give bad work. I wanted to give my all in this project because projects are a big part of our grades and I knew that I didn't wanted to fail.
This project took me around 6 hours to do in the span of 4 days. This was extremely hard to do on the first day because of all the distractions that were around me. I couldn't seem to concentrate and put 100% or even 75% of my focus onto the project. I then decided to make this assignment easier on me and started with the design of how I wanted my comic to look. The second day, I began making the border of the comic and coloring it in. The third day, I began sketching out the characters. That took me around 4 hours because there was so much characters and details to draw. On the last day, the day I completed my project, I focused on coloring it in. This was probably the est part of the project because I was able to expand my imagination and do something crazy, unique, and have fun.
If I could change something on this project is maybe add more color. I focused so much of my attention onto the inside of the comic that I completely forgot about the cover. I would do something more creative and make a more unique title instead of "Story Time", which made sense at the moment considering that the main characters in the comic says that.
I really enjoyed doing this project and I know for a fact that there will be more project like this in chemistry. I have friends that had this class last year and I remember that every 3 or so week, they were always carrying around a bov or a bag of some sort that contained their project inside.
