The 21st century skill that applies to this project in engineering is thinking and problem solving. Me and my partner have to make a hydraulic arm and we have many problems with this arm. We have to figure out how to add syringes to the cardboard arm and also hoe to add the arm. I'm most proud of being ahead out of everyone in class. Many are falling behind in this project and knowing that my partner and I are ahead makes me really happy because we can add more to our arm to make it better than everyone. I improved my thinking and problem solving skill with this project by talking with my partner when we have a problem with the arm and we put our heads together to try to fix it, make it better, and more efficient. The most difficult about this project is cutting the cardboard. I found it really hard to cut because the cardboard will either bend or the scissors would get stuck. If I can start over this hydraulic arm, I would make a whole plan and give a job to everyone that is in the group so no one is doing nothing. Knowing that in life, thinking and problem solving skills are used in everything, I can use the facts and knowledge that I have or have been given and be able to think on my feet when given a problem.
